Notice of Tribulation

Revised 1 January 2003; updated 8 January 2003, 15 January 2003, 27 January 2003, 9 February 2003, 9 March 2003.

Dear Sir/Madam

In the Lord have I righteousness and strength (Ps. 4:4; 68:21; Ezek. 3:21; 36:27; Dan. 12:3, 10; Mal. 2; Lk. 24:47; Rom. 8:1-2; 1 Cor. 15:34; Eph. 4:26-32; Lk. 17:3-4; Mt. 18:15-20; 1 Cor. 15:33; Mk. 16:12-18; 1 Jn. 1:5-2:6, 29; 3:3-4, 6-10, 22-23; 5:18; Titus 2:11-15; Jas. 2:14-26; Mt. 15:11, 17-20; Rom. 13:8-14; Mt. 5:17-20; 1 Tim. 5:20-25).

One does not live by the law, but by faith (Rom. 9:30) in the Holy Spirit, bearing His fruit in one's every day life (Gal. 5:22-26; Mt. 7:20). Therefore, if one breaks even one of God's laws, including the moral law of the Old Testament, then one should seriously question whether one is in fact actually living by the Holy Spirit. Those who live by the Holy Spirit do not break God's laws (late Pastor Sven Brauteseth).

Of what use is it or how can it profit one to break God's laws (Is. 1:4 (KJV 1611))? Surely one is only hurting oneself and others. God's laws are based on logic that we, who are made in His image, can learn to understand (Jas. 1:5-11; Heb. 11:6; 1 Kgs. 3:3, 5, 7, 9-14; 11; 2 Cor. 10:5; Acts 10:34; Rom. 2:11; Is. 41:21; 43:26; Jer. 15:6). One who belongs to God is no longer a slave of sin, but has the power of the same indwelling Spirit, who raised Jesus from the dead, to live a righteous life (Rom. 6; 8; Mt. 5:21-32; Is. 1:15-20; Lk. 10:16; Is. 58:13-14; Heb. 4:9-13; Mal. 3:6-12; 2 Cor. 9:7). The Lord disciplines those He loves (Prov. 3:11-12; Heb. 12:5-6).

NOTICE OF TRIBULATION

On Thursday, 5 September 2002, at 01h39, I responded to a request by Radio Sonder Grense (RSG), which broadcasts on the Internet, for listeners to present a perspective on America & Iraq, the former on the verge of attacking the latter, which was why I was anxiously sitting up so early in the morning.

I had immediately responded earlier that morning at 00h16 after first hearing the request, but was told by RSG that they were currently busy with another program but that the discussion would be next and that I should phone then. This gave me just over an hour to formulate my perspective.

I realised that Iraq was quilty of damaging the environment (by setting the oil fields in Kuwait ablaze) and murder (against Kurds in north of Iraq). I also realised that America was guilty of large scale damage to the environment and murder (abortion). I had reasoned in a letter to the Weekend Argus a few years ago that it can be demonstrated scientifically that the human zygote is as human as you and I and that abortion therefore is genocide. My inescapable conclusion therefore was that both America & Iraq were guilty of the above mentioned crimes against the environment and humanity and must therefore both be punished. This I announced over RSG.

I also realised that my conclusion was in stark contrast to Marx's all embracing dialectical view that conflict between America ("theses") and Iraq ("antitheses") was inevitable, and would lead to a higher syntheses or an amalgamation of the two countries, only to become the new theses, against whom another antitheses would emerge (e.g. South Africa), and more conflict, leading to another higher syntheses, and so on, basically a recipe for taking over the world.

I realised my perspective was a hypotheses and that if it could be applied to history and verified that it would in fact be a powerful proof for the existence of God. If a moral God exists then history will reveal that murder and damage to the environment are not left unpunished (Rev. 11:18; Is. 14:20-21; Jer. 4:23-31; 12:4, 11; Gen. 9:6, 16; Isa. 24:5; Ex. 20:13; 21:12-14; Lev. 24:17; Num. 35:30-31, 33; Deut. 19:18-19; Ex. 18:17-26; Rom. 13:1-7; 1 Jn. 5:16-17).

Prophecy:

The Bible makes it clear that it's prophecy is true and will take place (Dan. 11:2; Ps. 119:142; Jn. 14:6). It says that God shows people what will take place so that they cannot claim that their idols have brought about those things that God intends to bring about (Is. 48:5). He also gives understanding to His people (Mt. 24:25; Mk. 13:23). The testimony of Jesus is the spirit of prophecy (Rev. 19:9-10).

The Bible has a lot to say about the events surrounding seeing the sign of Jesus' powerful and glorious second return to earth, immediately after the tribulation (Mt. 24:29-30, 37-39; Mk. 13:24-26, 33-37;14:62; Lk. 17:20-33; 18:7-8; 21:20-28; Rev. 1:7; 14:14; Dan. 7:13; Joel 2:30-32; 3:15-17), for 1000 years (Dan. 7:14, 27; Rev. 20:2-8; Micah 4:2; Isa. 24:23; 2:3-4; Zech.14:9; Ps. 2:8-9; 72:8), some unrecorded, such as the seven thunders (Rev. 10:4). A couple of examples that take place during the great tribulation are a collision by a star, Wormwood, with earth (Rev. 8:10-11); and a great earthquake on earth (Is. 2:19; 13:13; Rev. 6:12-17; 16:18-19), when Jesus stands up to return to earth (because of His fury every island fled away, and the mountains were not found (Rev. 16:20; 6:14)), and neither shall the armies of the earth stand (Rev. 19:17-21; Jer. 10:10; 25:15-27). Jesus shall build a great kingdom on earth for 1000 years after which there will be another great defeat, of Gog (Rev. 20:7-10; Ezek. 38-39:16). After Jesus has ruled the earth for 1000 years, He may return to His Father, leading to a third major, gradual decline of righteousness on earth culminating in the third apocalypse, namely the destruction of the universe. So, just before the earth and the universe have outlived their lifespan (Rom. 8:20-22; Rev. 21:1; Isa. 34:4; 51:6; 60:19-20; Matt. 24:35; 2 Pet. 3:10-11; Rev. 20:11), in the twinkling of an eye (Mt. 24:31, 35-36, 40-42; Mk. 13:27, 31-33; Lk. 17:34-37; 21:33-36; 1 Cor. 15:51-58; 2 Pet. 3:7-13), the dead in Christ shall rise first: then those which are alive and remain shall be caught up together with them in the clouds, to meet the Lord in the air: and so shall we ever be with the Lord. And the dead, small and great, stood before God; and the books were opened: and another bok was opened, which is the book of life: and the dead were judged out of those things which were written in the books, according to their works. And the sea gave up the dead which were in it; and death and hell delivered up the dead which were in them: and they were judged every man according to their works. And death and hell were cast into the lake of fire. This is the second death. And whosoever was not found written in the book of life was cast into the lake of fire (1 Thes. 4; 5; Rev. 20:5, 11-15; Dan. 7:10; 12:2; Mt. 25:31-46). And a new Heaven and a new Earth (Rev. 21). Those born again of water (baptism) and of the Spirit shall live happily for ever (Lk. 15:7, 10, 17-19; Jn. 3:3, 5, 15; 6:53-58, 63; Lk. 22:19-20).

I do not wish to focus at this stage on the events which will take place during the Great Tribulation of 3.5 years (Mt. 24:20-22; Dan. 7:25; 12:7; Rev. 13:5) before Jesus' return, which is a huge study on it's own, but rather on the events that will take place before that (Mt. 24:32-33; Lk. 21:29-32).

Signs preceding Great Tribulation:

*  Teach all nations, baptising them in the name of the Father, Son, and Holy Spirit, teaching them to observe all things Jesus has commanded us (Mt. 24:14; 28:19-20).

*  Make a chain: for the land is full of bloody crimes, and the city is full of violence (Ezek. 7).

*  Operation Behold Your God (BYG) (Is. 40:9-10).

*  And there shall be upon every high mountain, and upon every high hill, rivers and streams of waters in the day of the great slaughter, when the towers fall. Moreover the light of the moon shall be as the light of the sun, and the light of the sun shall be sevenfold, as the light of seven days, in the day that the Lord bindeth up the breach of his people, and healeth the stroke of their wound (Is. 30:25-26).

*  And from the time that the daily sacrifice shall be taken away, and the abomination that maketh desolate set up, there shall be a thousand two hundred and ninety days. Blessed is he that waiteth, and cometh to the thousand three hundred and five and thirty days (Dan. 12:11-12).

Therefore the he goat waxed very great: and when he was strong, the great horn was broken; and for it came up four notable ones toward the four winds of heaven. And out of one of them came forth a little horn, which waxed exceeding great, toward the south, and toward the east, and toward the pleasant land. And it waxed great, even to the host of heaven; and it cast down some of the host and of the stars to the ground, and stamped upon them. Yea, he magnified himself even to the prince of the host, and by him the daily sacrifice was taken away, and the place of his sanctuary cast down. And a host was given him against the daily sacrifice by reason of transgression, and it cast down the truth to the ground; and it practised, and prospered. Then I heard one saint speaking, and another saint said unto that certain saint which spake, How long shall be the vision concerning the daily sacrifice, and the transgression of desolation, to give both the sanctuary and the host to be trodden under foot? And he said unto me, Unto two thousand and three hundred days; then shall the sanctuary be cleansed. And the vision of the evening and morning which was told is true: ... (Dan. 8:8-14, 26).

I beheld then, because of the voice of the great words which the horn spake: I beheld even till the beast was slain, and his body destroyed, and given to the burning flame. As concerning the rest of the beasts, they had their dominion taken away: yet their lives were prolonged for a season and time (Dan. 7:11-12).

Dan. 11:31, 27, 29; Mt. 24:22; Mk. 13:20.

You can imagine my surprise when I realised that the above mentioned argument which I had presented over RSG, which I shall refer to as the Moral Argument (Ex. 23:2; Lev. 19:35; Num. 14:42; 21:23-24; 2 Chr. 19:10; 20:37; Ps. 33:16; 37:6; Is. 1:20; 3:10-11; 5:16; 7:5-7; 9:13; 31:1-2; 33:5-6; 37:4-7, 18-20, 33-38; 40:15; 41:1; 56:1; 59:18; Jer. 9:24; 17:9-10; Dan. 5:27; 6:22; Hos. 7:2; 12:6; Zeph.1:12; Jn. 8:6-11; 1 Cor. 5:11-6:11), was to be found in Dan. 8:12 which says "a host was given him against the daily sacrifice by reason of transgression".

I also realised that if Daniel had predicted my argument, that I could possibly play a role in bringing the abortion genocide (Ex. 21:22-25; Lev. 20:1-5; Deut. 18:10; Is. 5:24; Jer. 1:5;2:34-3:3; Ezek. 16; 23; Hos. 4:6, 10-11; 9:11-17; Mk. 9:36-37; Mt. 18:1-14; Lk. 17:1-2) to an end.

*  Observation, the Lord willing, of the star, Wormwood, approaching Earth.

*  For over 10 years I have held the belief that Dan. 8 offers a window into contemporary history. Remember Hitler and his allies Italy and Japan. You may recall how he pushed west into France and England, north into Russia, and south into Africa. How England unsuccessfully tried to rescue out of his hand at Dunkirk. How America came from the west and smote him and cast him down and stamped on him. How America therefore became great. This image is to be found in Dan. 8:3-8.

Revelation by the Lord Jesus Christ (Dan. 10:5-12:13; Rev. 1:10-18; Dan. 8:16-17; Lk. 1:26-29), and the One who sent him (Dan. 10:11):

There shall stand up yet three kings in Persia; and the fourth shall be far richer than they all: and by his strength through his riches he shall stir up all against the realm of Grecia (Dan. 11:2; 8:3, 5, 20-21). And a mighty king shall stand up, that shall rule with great dominion, and do according to his will. And when he shall stand up, his kingdom shall be broken, and shall be divided toward the four winds of heaven (Dan. 11:4; 8:8) (four kingdoms shall stand up out of the nation, but not in his power (Dan. 8:22)); and not to his posterity, nor according to his dominion which he ruled: for his kingdom shall be plucked up, even for others besides those.

And the king of the south shall be strong, and one of his princes; and he shall be strong above him, and have dominion; his dominion shall be a great dominion. And they shall join themselves together; for the king's daughter of the south shall come to the king of the north to make an agreement: but she shall not retain the power of the arm; neither shall he stand, nor his arm: but she shall be given up, and they that brought her, and he that begat her, and he that strengthened her in these times.

But out of a branch of her roots shall one stand up in his estate, which shall come with an army, and shall enter the fortress of the king of the north, and shall deal against them, and shall prevail: and shall also carry captives into Egypt their gods, with their princes, and with their precious vessels of silver and gold; and he shall continue more years than the king of the north. So the king of the south shall come into his kingdom, and shall return into his own land.

But his sons shall be stirred up, and shall assemble a multitude of great forces: and one shall certainly come, and overflow, and pass through: then shall he return, and be stirred up, even to his fortress. And the king of the south shall be moved with choler, and shall come forth and fight with the king of the north: and he shall set forth a great multitude; but the multitude shall be given into his hand. And when he hath taken away the multitude, his heart shall be lifted up; and he shall cast down many ten thousands:but he shall not be strengthened by it. For the king of the north shall return, and shall set forth a multitude greater than the former, and shall certainly come after certain years with a great army and with much riches. And in those times there shall many stand up against the king of the south: also the robbers of thy people shall exalt themselves to establish the vision; but they shall fall. So the king of the north shall come, and cast up a mount, and take the most fenced cities: and the arms of the south shall not withstand, neither his chosen people, neither shall there be any strength to withstand. But he that cometh against him shall do according to his own will, and none shall stand before him: and he shall stand in the glorious land, which by his hand shall be consumed. He shall also set his face to enter with the strength of his whole kingdom, and upright ones with him; thus shall he do: and he shall give him the daughter of women, corrupting her: but she shall not stand on his side, neither be for him. After this he shall turn his face unto the isles, and shall take many: but a prince for his own behalf shall cause the reproach offered by him to cease; without his own reproach he shall cause it to turn upon him. Then he shall turn his face toward the fort of his own land: but he shall stumble and fall, and not be found.

Then shall stand up in his estate a raiser of taxes in the glory of the kingdom: but within few days he shall be destroyed, neither in anger, nor in battle (Dan, 11:20; Rev. 17:10).

And in his estate shall stand up the man of lawlessness, to whom they shall not give the honor of the kingdom: but he shall come in peaceably, and obtain the kingdom by flatteries. And with the arms of a flood shall they be overthrown from before him, and shall be broken; yea, also the prince of the covenant (Dan. 11:22; 7:25; 8:10, 24-25; Rev. 13:7-9). (When the enemy shall come in like a flood, the Spirit of the Lord shall lift up a standard against him (Is. 10:22; 49:22; 59:19; 62:10-12)). And after the league made with him he shall work deceitfully: for he shall come up, and shall become strong with a small people (Dan. 11:23; 7:8; 8:9). (I considered the horns, and, behold, there came up among them another little horn, before whom there were three of the first horns plucked up by the roots (and he shall be diverse from the first, and he shall subdue three kings (Dan. 7:24)): and, behold, in this horn were eyes like the eyes of man, and a mouth speaking great things (Dan. 7:8)) (whose look was more stout than his fellows (Dan. 7:20)). He shall enter peaceably even upon the fattest places of the province; and he shall do that which his fathers have not done, nor his fathers' fathers; he shall scatter among them the prey, and spoil, and riches: yea, and he shall forecast his devices against the strongholds, even for a time. And he shall stir up his power and his courage against the king of the south with a great army; and the king of the south shall be stirred up to battle with a very great and mighty army; but he shall not stand: for they shall forecast devices against him. Yea, they that feed of the portion of his meat shall destroy him, and his army shall overflow: and many shall fall down slain. And both these kings' hearts shall be to do mischief, and they shall speak lies at one table; but it shall not prosper: for yet the end shall be at the time appointed. Then shall he return into his land with great riches; and his heart shall be against the holy covenant; and he shall do exploits, and return to his own land.

At the time appointed he shall return, and come toward the south; but it shall not be as the former, or as the latter. For the ships of Chittim shall come against him: therefore he shall be grieved, and return, and have indignation against the holy covenant: so shall he do; he shall even return, and have intelligence with them that forsake the holy covenant. And arms shall stand on his part, and they shall pollute the sanctuary of strength, and shall take away the daily sacrifice, and they shall place the abomination that maketh desolate (Dan. 11:31; 12:11; 8:11). (He shall think to change times and laws: and they shall be given into his hand for the time of the Great Tribulation (Dan. 7:25)). And such as do wickedly against the covenant shall he corrupt by flatteries: but the people that do know their God shall be strong, and do exploits. And they that understand among the people shall instruct many: yet they shall fall by the sword, and by flame, by captivity, and by spoil, many days. Now when they shall fall, they shall be helped with a little help: but many shall cleave to them with flatteries. And some of them of understanding shall fall, to try them, and to purge, and to make them white, even to the time of the end: because it is yet for a time appointed.

And the king shall do according to his will; and he shall exalt himself, and magnify himself above every god, and shall speak marvelous things against the God of gods (Dan. 11:36; 7:8, 20, 25; 8:23, 25; 2 Thes.; Rev. 13:5-6), and shall prosper till the indignation be accomplished: for that that is determined shall be done. Neither shall he regard the God of his fathers, nor the desire of women, nor regard any god: for he shall magnify himself above all. But in his estate shall he honor the God of forces: and a god whom his fathers knew not shall he honor with gold, and silver, and precious stones, and pleasant things. Thus shall he do in the most strongholds with a strange god, whom he shall acknowledge and increase with glory: and he shall cause them to rule over many, and shall divide the land for gain (Dan. 11:2-39; 7; 8).

The Beast and The Man of Lawlessness:

I saw a beast rise up out of the sea, having 7 heads and ten horns, and upon his horns ten crowns, and upon his heads the name of blasphemy. And the beast which I saw was like unto a leopard, and his feet were as the feet of a bear, and his mouth as the mouth of a lion: and the dragon gave him his power, and his seat, and great authority (Rev. 13:1-2; Dan. 7:7). And I saw one of his heads as it were wounded to death by a sword; and his deadly wound was healed: and all the world wandered after the beast. And they worshipped the dragon which gave power unto the beast: and they worshipped the beast, saying, Who is like unto the beast? who is able to make war with him (Rev. 13:3-4, 14)?

I will tell thee the mystery of the woman, and of the beast that carrieth her, which hath the seven heads and ten horns. The beast that thou sawest was, and is not; and shall ascend out of the bottomless pit (Rev. 11:7), and go into eternal damnation: and they that dwell on the earth shall wonder, whose names are not written in the book of life from the foundation of the world, when they behold the beast that was, and is not, and yet is. And here is the mind which hath wisdom. The seven heads are seven mountains, on which the woman sitteth. And there are seven kings: five are fallen, and one is, and the other is not yet come; and when he cometh, he must continue a short space (Rev. 17:10; Dan. 11:20). And the beast that eas, and is not, even he is the eighth, and is of the seven, and goeth into eternal damnation. And the ten horns which thou sawest are ten kings, which have received no kingdom as yet; but receive power as kings one hour with the beast. These have one mind, and shall give their power and strength unto the beast. These shall make war with the Lamb, and the Lamb shall overcome them: for he is the Lord of lords, and King of kings: and they that are with him are clled, and chosen, and faithful (1 Tim. 2:3-4; Jn. 1:7; 3:16; 2 Pet. 3:9; 1 Jn. 2:2; Ezek. 18:23, 31-32; Is. 1:16; Mt. 4:17; Lk. 13:3). The waters which thou sawest, where the whore sitteth, are peoples, and multitudes, and nations, and tongues. And the ten horns which thou sawest upon the beast, these shall hate the whore, and shall make her desolate and naked, and shall eat her flesh, and burn her with fire. For God hath put it in their hearts to fulfil his will, and to agree, and give their kingdom unto the beast, until the words of God shall be fulfilled. And the woman which thou sawest is that great city, which reigneth over the kings of the earth (Rev. 17:1-18).

And the rough goat is the king of Grecia: and the great horn that is between his eyes is the first king. Now that being broken, whereas four stood up for it, four kingdoms shall stand up out of the nation, but not in his power. And in the latter time of their kingdom, when the transgressors are come to the full, a king of fierce countenance, and understanding dark sentences, shall stand up. and his power shall be mighty, but not by his own power: and he shall destroy wonderfully, and shall prosper, and practise, and shall destroy the nighty and the holy people. And through his policy also he shall cause craft to prosper in his hand; and he shall magnify himself in his heart, and by peace destroy many: he shall also stand up against the Prince of princes; but he shall be broken without hand (Dan. 8:21-25).

Let no man deceive you by any means: for that day shall not come, except there come a falling away first, and that man of sin be revealed, the son of perdition; who opposeth and exalteth himself above all that is called God, or that is worshipped; so that he as God sitteth in the temple of God, showing himself that he is God. And now ye know what withholdeth that he might be revealed in his time. For the mystery of iniquity doth already work: only he who now letteth will let, until he be taken out of the way. And then shall that Wicked be revealed, whom the Lord shall consume with the spirit of his mouth, and shall destroy with the brightness of his coming: even him, whose coming is after the working of Satan with all power and signs and lying wonders, and with all deceivableness of unrighteousness in them that perish; because they received not the love of the truth, that they might be saved. And for this cause God shall send them strong delusion, that they should believe a lie: that they all might be damned who believed not the truth, but had pleasure in unrighteousness (2 Thes. 2:3-12).

And there was given unto him a mouth speaking great things and blasphemies; and power was given unto him to continue forty and two months. And he opened his mouth in blasphemy against God, to blaspheme his name, and his tabernacle, and them that dwell in heaven. And it was given unto him to make war with the saints, and to overcome them: and power was given him over all kindreds, and tongues, and nations. And all that dwell upon the earth shall worship him, whose names are not written in the book of life of the Lamb slain from the foundation of the world. If any man have an ear, let him hear. He that leadeth into captivity shall go into captivity: he that killeth with the sword must be killed with the sword. Here is the patience of the saints (Rev. 13:5-10).

Then I would know the truth of the fourth beast, which was diverse from all the others, exceeding dreadful, whose teeth were of iron, and his nails of brass; which devoured, brake in pieces, and stamped the residue with his feet; and of the ten horns that were in his head, and of the other which came up, and before whom three fell; even of that horn that had eyes, and a mouth that spake very great things, whose look was more stout than his fellows. I beheld, and the same horn made war with the saints, and prevailed against them; until the Ancient of days came, and judgment was given to the saints of the Most High; and the time came that the saints possessed the kingdom.
Thus he said, The fourth beast shall be the fourth kingdom upon earth, which shall be diverse from all kingdoms, and shall devour the whole earth, and shall tread it down, and brake it in pieces. And the ten horns out of this kingdom are ten kings that shall arise: and another shall arise after them; and he shall be diverse from the first, and he shall subdue three kings. And he shall speak great words against the Most High, and shall wear out the saints of the Most High, and think to change times and laws: and they shall be given into his hand until a time and times and the dividing of time. But the judgement shall sit, and they shall take away his dominion, to consume and to destroy it unto the end. And the kingdom and dominion, and the greatness of the kingdom under the whole heaven, shall be given to the people of the saints of the Most High, whose kingdom is an everlasting kingdom, and all dominions shall serve and obey him. Hitherto is the end of the matter (Dan. 7:19-28).

*  Great wonders in heaven and manifestation on Earth (Rev. 12:1-4; Dan. 8:10).

*  Rev. 12:7-14; 2 Cor. 11:12-15.

And I beheld another beast coming up out of the earth, the false prophet (Rev. 13:11; 19:20); and he had two horns like a lamb, and he spake as a dragon. And he exerciseth all the power of the first beast before him, and causeth the earth and them which dwell therein to worship the first beast, whose deadly wound was healed. And he doeth great wonders, so that he maketh fire come down from heaven on the earth in the sight of men, and deceiveth them that dwell on the earth by the means of those miracles which he had power to do in the sight of the beast; saying to them that dwell on the earth, that they should make an image, which had the wound by a sword, and did live. And he had power to give life unto the image of the beast, that the image of the beast should both speak, and cause that as many as would not worship the image of the beast should be killed (Rev. 13:14-15; Is. 41:1-20; 44:12-13). (But they that escape shall escape, and shall be on the mountains like doves of the valleys, all of them mourning, every one for his iniquity (Ezek. 7:16)). (Those who are put to death for the witness of Jesus, and for the word of God, and which had not worshipped the beast, neither his image, neither had received his mark upon their foreheads, or in their hands, will live and reign with Jesus a thousand years and will not die again (Rev. 20:4-6)). And he causeth all, both small and great, rich and poor, free and bond, to receive a mark in their right hand, or in their foreheads: and that no man might buy or sell, save he that had the mark, or the name of the beast, or the number of his name. Here is wisdom. Let him that hath understanding count the number of the beast: for it is the number of a man; and his number is Six hundred threescore and six (Rev. 13:11-18). People will be confronted with a day in which they will be forced to make a choice. Those that choose to worship the beast and his image and receive his mark will be condemned by God for ever (Rev. 14:9-11). If any man hath an ear, let him hear. He that leadeth into captivity shall go into captivity (Rev. 13:9-10). The image and number will remain in force for 3,5 years (Rev. 13:5).

*  announcement/s by angels (Rev. 14:6-11;18).

*  When ye therefore shall see the abomination of desolation, spoken of by Daniel ... then let them which be in Judea flee (Dan. 11:31; Mt. 24:9-28; Mk.13:9-23); Israel consumed, and Jerusalem and the court which is without the temple, with the exception of the temple of God, and the altar, and them that worship therein, (given unto/trodden under foot by) the Gentiles for the duration of the Great Tribulation (Dan. 11:16; Is. 28:18; 29:1-8; 51:17-23; Rev. 11:1-2), & introduction of mark of beast.

*  O my people that dwell in Zion, be not afraid of the Assyrian: he shall smite thee with a rod, and shall lift up his staff against thee, after the manner of Egypt (Is. 10:24-27).

Is. 8:13-22.

And to the woman were given two wings of a great eagle, that she might fly into the wilderness, into her place, where she is nourished for a time, and times, and half a time, from the face of the serpent (Rev. 12:6, 13-17; 18:4; Is. 54:5-10).

Arise ye, and depart; for this is not your rest: because it is polluted, it shall destroy you, even with a sore destruction.

I will surely assemble, O jacob, all of thee; I will surely gather the remnant of Israel; I will put them together as the sheep of Bozrah, as the flock in the midst of their fold: they shall make great noice by reason of the multitude of men. The breaker is come up before them: they have broken up, and have passed through the gate, and are gone out by it; and their king shall pass before them, and the Lord on the head of them (Mic. 2:10-13).

I will hiss for them, and gather them; for I have redeemed them: and they shall increase as they have increased. And I will sow them among the people: and they shall remember me in far countries; and they shall live with their children, and turn again. I will bring them again also out of the land of Egypt, and gather them out of Assyria; and I will bring them into the land of Gilead and Lebanon; and plae shall not be found for them. And he shall pass through the sea with affliction, and smite the waves in the sea, and all the deeps of the river shall dry up: and the pride of Assyria shall be brought down, and the sceptre of Egypt shall depart away. And I will strengthen them in the Lord; and they shall walk up and down in his name, saith the Lord (Zech. 10:8-12).

And it shall come to pass in that day, that such as are escaped, shall no more stay upon him that smaote them; but shall stay upon the Lord, the Holy One, in truth (Is. 10:20-23).

In that day shall his burden be taken away from off thy shoulder, and his yoke from off thy neck, and the yoke shall be destroyed because of the anointing (Is. 10:27).

In that day shall the branch of the Lord be beautiful and glorious, and the fruit of the earth shall be excellent and comely (Gen. 2:7; 9:20 (NIV); Is. 1:29;6:13;25:10; Jer. 25:33; Lk. 13:8; 14:34-35) for them that are escaped. He that is left in Zion, and he that remaineth in Jerusalem, shall be called holy: when the Lord shall have washed awy the filth of the daughters of Zion, and shall have purged the blood of Jerusalem from the midst thereof by the spirit of judgement, and by the spirit of burning. And the Lord will create upon every dwelling place of mount Zion, and upon her assemblies, a cloud and smaoke by day, and the shining of a flaming fire by night: for upon all the glory shall be a defense. And there shall be a tabernacle for a shadow in the daytime from the heat, and for a place of refuge, and for a covert from storm and rain (Is. 4:2-6).

The Lord of hosts hath sworn, saying, Surely as I have thought, so shall it come to pass; and as I have purposed, so shall it stand: that I will break the Assyrian in my land, and upon my mountains tread him under foot: then shall his yoke depart from off their shoulders. This is the purpose that is purposed upon the whole earth: and this is the hand that is stretched out upon all the nations. For the Lord of hosts have puposed, and who shall disannul it? and his hand is stretched out, and who shall turn it back (Is. 14:24-27)?

You shall dwell on high; your place of defense shall be the munitions of rocks: bread shall be given you; your waters shall be sure (Is. 33; Mt. 13:24-30; 5:39-48; Ex. 23:4-5; Lev. 19:17-18, 34; Deut. 32:35, 39-43; Prov. 25:21-23; Nah.; Rom. 12:19; Heb. 10:30-31; 1 Cor. 15:33; Ex. 22:1-4; Neh. 4:14; Esth. 8:11; Lk. 22:35-38, 49; 1 Tim. 5:8).

The wilderness and the solitary place shall be glad for them; and the desert shall rejoice, and blossom as the rose. In the wilderness shall waters break out, and streams in the desert (Is. 35; 41:17-18).

Thus saith the Lord, Fear not: for I have redeemed thee, I have called thee by name; thou art mine. When thou passest through the waters, I will be with thee; and through the rivers, they shall not overflow thee: when thou walkest through the fire, thou shalt not be burned; neither shall the flame kindle upon thee. I gave Egypt for thy ransom, Ethiopia and Seba for thee. Since thou wast precious in my sight, thou hast been honourable, and I have loved thee: therefore will I give men for thee, and people for thy life. Fear not; for I am with thee: I will bring thy seed from the east, and gather thee from the west: I will say to the north, Give up; and to the south, Keep not back: bring my sons from far, and my daughters from the ends of the earth; even every one that is called by my name. Bring forth the blind that have eyes, and the deaf that have ears. Let all the nations be gathered together, and let the people be assembled. Thus saith the Lord, which maketh a way in the sea, and a path in the mighty waters; which bringeth forth the chariot and horse, the army and the power; they shall lie down together, they shall not rise: they are extinct, they are quenched as tow. Behold, I will do a new thing; now it shall spring forth; shall ye not know it? I will even make a way in the wilderness, and rivers in the desert, to give drink to my people, my chosen (Is. 43).

Assemble yourselves and come; draw near together, ye that are escaped of the nations. Tell ye, and bring them near; yea, let them take counsel together (Is. 45:20-21).

Go ye forth of Babylon, flee ye from the Chaldeans, with a voice of singing declare ye, tell this, utter it even to the end of the earth; say ye, The Lord has redeemed his servant Jacob. And they thirsted not when he led them through the deserts: he caused the waters to flow out of the rock for them: he clave the rock also, and the waters gushed out (Is. 48:20-21; 52:11-12).

Hos. 1:7, 10-2:23; 11:12 (KJV 1611); Ezek. 14:22-23.

In the day that thy walls are to be built, in thast day shall the decree be far removed. In that day also he shall come to thee from Assyria, and from the fortified cities, and from the fortress even to the river, and from sea to sea, and from mountain to mountain.

Feed thy people with thy rod, the flock of thine heritage, which dwell solitarily in the wood, in the midst of Carmel: let them feed in Bashan and Gilead, as in the days of old. According to the days of thy coming out of the land of Egypt will I show him marvelous things.

The nations shall see and be confounded at all their might: they shall lay their hand upon their mouth, their ears shall be deaf. They shall lick the dust like a serpent, they shall move out of their holes like worms of the earth: they shall be afraid of the Lord our God, and shall fear because of thee.

Who is a God like unto thee, that pardeneth iniquity, and passeth by the transgression of the remnant of his heritage? he retaineth not his anger for ever, because he delighteth in mercy. He will turn again, he will have compassion upon us; he will subdue our iniquities; and thou wilt cast all their sins into the depths of the sea. Thou wilt perform the truth to Jacob, and the mercy to Abraham, which thou hast sworn unto our fathers from the days of old (Mic. 7:11-20).

For when ye offer your gifts, when ye make your sons to pass through the fire, ye pollute yourselves with all your idols, even unto this day: and shall I be inquired of by you, O house of Israel? As I live, saith the Lord God, I will not be inquired of by you.

And that which cometh into your mind shall not be at all, that ye say, We will be as the heathen, as the families of the countries, to serve wood and stone. As I live, saith the Lord God, surely with a mighty hand, and with a strtched out arm, and with fury poured out, will I rule over you: and I will bring you out from the people, and will gather you out of the countries wherein ye are scattered, with a mighty hand, and with a stretched out arm, and with fury poured out. And I will bring you into the wilderness of the people, and there will I plead with you face to face. Like as I pleaded with your fathers in the wilderness of the land of Egypt, so will I plead with you, saith the Lord God. And I will cause you to pass under the rod, and I will bring you into the bond of the covenant: and I will purge out from among you the rebels, and them that transgress against me: I will bring them forth out of the country where they sojourn, and they shall not enter into the land of Israel: and ye shall know that I am the Lord (Ezek. 20:31-48; Ex. 22:6; 21:1-6; 34; 36:22-37:14).

Thus saith the Lord, In an acceptable time have I heard thee, and in a day of salvation have I helped thee, and give thee for a covenant of the people, to establish the earth, to cause to inherit the desolate heritages; that thou mayest say to the prisioners, Go forth; to them that are in darkness, Show yourselves. They shall feed in the ways, and their pastures shall be in all high places. They shall not hunger or thirst; neither shall the heat nor sun smite them: for he that hath mercy on them shall lead them, even by the springs of water shall he guide them. And I will nake all my mountains a way, and my highways shall be exalted. Behold, these shall come from afar: and lo, these from the north and from the west; and these from the land of Sinim (Is. 49:8-26).

The Lord will give thee rest from thy sorrow and fear, and from the hard bondage wherein thou wast made to serve (Is. 14:3-8).

For the Lord will have mercy on Jacob, and will yet choose Israel, and set them in their own land (Is. 14:1).

Is. 65:9.

If any man hath an ear, let him hear. He that killeth with the sword must be killed with the sword (Rev. 13:9-10).

Is. 48:6; 50:10-11.

Joel 1-2; Jer. 7:1-7.

Conclusion:

In order to assess whether my conclusion is correct, one would have to see whether events proceedding in fact match those made by the prophets. If proceeding events match those predicted by the prophets then one should conclude that the conclusion is in fact correct. If procedding events do not match those4 predicted by the prophets then one can conclude that the conclusion is in fact not correct, which would be sure to know.

My intention is not to unsettle you with this letter but I cannot continue to prepare for these events without warning others too. If you knew this, I would hope that you would be kind enough to share this knowledge with me so that I could prepare myself too.

In the meantime, until I have received information to the contrary, I will continue to prepare myself (Heb. 11:8, 7). Positive criticism welcome.

Thus saith the Lord of hosts; Ye shall certainly drink the cup at his hand. For, lo, I begin to bring evil on the city which is called by my name, and should ye be utterly unpunished? Ye shall not be unpunished: for I will call for a sword upon all the inhabitants of the earth, saith the Lord of hosts.

The Lord shall roar from on high, and utter his voice from his holy habitation; he shall give a shout, as they that tread the grapes, against all the inhabitants of the earth; for the Lord hath a controversy with the nations; he will plead with all flesh; he will give them that are wicked to the sword, saith the Lord.

Thus saith the Lord of hosts, Behold, evil shall go forth from nation to nation, and a great whirlwind shall be raised up from the coasts of the earth. And the slain of the Lord shall be at that day from one end of the earth even unto the other end of the earth: they shall not be lamented, neith gathered, nor buried; they shall be dung upon the ground. Howl, ye shepherds, and cry; and wallow yourselves in the ashes, ye principal of the flock: for the days of your slaughter and of your dispersions are accomplished; and ye shall fall like a pleasant vessel. And the shepherds shall have no way to flee, nor the principal of the flock to escape. A voice of the cry of the shepherds, and a howling of the principal of their flock, shall be heard: for the Lord hath spoiled their pasture. And the peaceable habitaions are cut down because of the fierce anger of the Lord. He hath forsaken his covert, as the lion: for their land is desolate because of the fierceness of the oppressor, and because of his firce anger (Jer. 25:28-38).
